We are not ashamed of the Law for the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 19:7 " <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#339933" FACE="Arial" >The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;"</FONT> and we are not ashamed of the Gospel:  Ro 1:16 <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#339933" FACE="Arial" >"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;" </FONT> The Law and the Gospel are preached and taught at Living Word with the ultimate goal of bringing assurance of eternal life to all who will hear. </div> <div> In Revelation  17 and 18 we read of the woman riding on a scarlet beast. This woman is identified as "BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.  This revelation of St. John is a picture of what the church will become, (indeed has become) in the last days. It is a church that is in bed with the world. it is a church that is so compromised with the world that one cannot tell the difference between it and the world.  What are we to do about this sad state of affairs? Rev. 18:4 says, "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues." </div> <div> Can it be any plainer than that? Are you looking for a church that refuses to compromise with the world? Are you looking for a church that pledges to remain faithful to the teachings of Scripture?
